Kliniki ya Airtel Rising Stars yaanza Dar

Airtel Rising Stars soccer clinic for the U-17 players scouted during the 2016 Airtel Rising Stars has kicked off today at the Karume Memorial Stadium for 40 boys while 25 girls are camping at the JK Park (Kidongo Chekundu) both fields located in Dar es Salaam.
Speaking during the opening ceremony of the clinic, Serengeti Boys Head coach, Bakari Shime said ‘the first day of the clinic, will focus on physical fitness of individual player’. ‘This is the first time we are training these youngsters and therefore we are focusing on individual elements of every player so that we can establishment their weakness and strengthens.
 Working hard of player and physical fitness of a player are key elements in this clinic and that is why for today we have given the players time to show case these skills, ‘said Shime’.
However, as you are aware, every year we always do placements for our national youth team – Serengeti Boys and especially for the aged players. This clinic will enable us to identify players for such replacements.’
The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Chairman of the Youth Development Committee, Ayoub Nyenzi said that, Airtel Rising Stars clinic will offer the young talents with an opportunity to showcase their talents to our leading youth soccer coaches. ‘This is a rare opportunity for the youth to continue developing their talents.
All the players cannot play for our National Team but we have our premier clubs who should have youth teams in their clubs. This is the right opportunity for them to come up and scout players for their teams, said Nyenzi.

To her part, the Airtel Tanzania Public Relations Officer, Jane Matinde ‘said that, the Airtel Rising Stars clinic marks the end of the Airtel Rising Stars season six. ‘The 2016 Airtel Rising Stars have been a huge success. I do take this opportunity to that TFF and all other stakeholders who have been involved in the tournament in one way or another. As we launch this soccer clinic would like to call all of us to continue supporting each other so that these young players can excel in their dreams of becoming professional players, said Matinde.
