Kaymu.co.tz Celebrates Women’s Day with Top Fashion seller

Dar-es-Salaam, March 2015
Women’s Day is a day to celebrate acts of courage and willpower by women who have played an important role in the history of their countries, communities and families in one way or another, and to continue promoting the importance of increased opportunity and equality for women across the globe.

Kaymu.co.tz Tanzania’s leading online marketplace celebrates Women’s Day with Mrs. Dorah Mgaya, a successful businesswoman, who sells her fashion and beauty products through Kaymu.
Mrs. Mgaya who owns D&M Jewelers, is one of the many sellers who has had success with selling online.

If you look at Kaymu’s mission since it started, tracing back to 2013, the company has always focused on empowering SMEs – and in particularly highlighting female entrepreneurs by offering them a different way of generating revenue through selling online.

Dorah said “I have always had passion for fashion, that’s what influenced me to start my own business, with a little capital upfront and of course extra work and determination i managed to grow and be successful.
Mrs. Mgaya adds, “I met Kaymu 6 months after opening my business, I was skeptical at first but I’m enjoying every minute of it. Selling online has made me increase my sales, I even get buyers from different parts of Tanzania, of which is almost impossible at first.

She adds, “I’d like to encourage other women to join the platform because it guarantees sales and if you look at how the internet is growing in Tanzania, this can only be a good sign.
This Women’s Day, Kaymu Tanzania wants to congratulate and pay homage to all the hard-working female entrepreneurs, just like Dorah Mgaya.
Erfaan Mojgani, Kaymu Tanzania’s country manager, says, “Women like Dorah are a pride to any nation or community that surrounds them, and consistently demonstrate the vital role of women as agents of development and change in Tanzania.”

Furthermore, we want to thank women everywhere – our sisters, mothers, daughters, friends, colleagues, employers, and politicians – for everything you do to better our homes, our workplaces and our communities. One small way we show our appreciation has been to offer great deals on our favorite items for women this whole week here Women’s Day Specials
